The Peace Center for the Performing ArtsCommercial / Cultural
This extensive project changed the face of the Peace Center, which is the cultural center of the Upstate and a downtown Greenville landmark. Major improvements were made to the lobby, including a 12,000 SF expansion of floor space and a new drinking/dining lounge overlooking the Reedy River. The Peace Center now includes a concert hall, theater, amphitheatre, patrons lounge, and various indoor and outdoor spaces. We worked closely with local/state/federal agencies and the Corp of Engineers because of the sensitive historical/environmental nature of the work and the proximity to the Reedy River.
