For 75 Years

We’ve built our reputation one project at a time.

In 1947, three men established a privately-held, employee-owned construction firm in Greenville, SC with a focus on character and principle. Together, John D. Pellett, Jr., C. Heyward Morgan, and Nelson Tracy, had a vision for what they could build — their team, their partnerships, and their community.

Although the firm initially focused solely on public sector work, the latter half of the 20th Century brought opportunities to expand into institutional work, including significant projects for the community’s healthcare, higher education, and religious organizations.

From the 1980s on, our team has handled a wide range of work, from $100,000 tenant upfits to $60,000,000 multi-phase projects. We’ve done stick-framed apartments, conventional steel and masonry construction, and even cast-in-place multi-level office buildings.

Today, our opportunities in the 21st century are bright, and our legacy stands as the foundation on which we build our future – one project at a time – honoring our founders’ three-sided vision  of commitment, integrity, and loyalty.

The Carolinas are our home. In fact, Triangle still occupies the same location that our founders chose in 1955. With the majority of our employees as stockholders, we have invested tremendous time and energy in building the kind of long-standing relationships with subcontractors and suppliers across the Carolinas that provide the highest value and honest pricing.

We invest ourselves in this process to make sure we are always incredibly thorough and uncompromisingly fair in how we vet our subcontractors. If they understand the standard of quality we expect on your behalf, then from ground-breaking to ribbon-cutting, we can rely on our values of integrity, commitment, and loyalty to guide these relationships and deliver consistent and excellent results.
