A state-funded, public, residential high school, serving sophomores, juniors, and seniors, the Governor’s School gives artistically-talented students from across the state the opportunity to receive pre-professional training in Creative Writing, Dance, Drama, Music, and Visual Arts. Triangle’s scope of work included performance spaces, a black box theatre, and a dormitory. All sitework for the 8.5 acres of campus was completed before the 260,000 square feet of buildings were construction. This project was designed by Freeman & Major Architects with a construction value of $22 million.
