In 2019, Triangle Construction was engaged in the Peace Center’s $2.4 million interior renovations project.  Our construction team was tasked with relocating the sound booth to the back of the concert hall, which required lowering the floor of the existing control room for access to the booth. Additionally, accessibility was improved, with a new ramp in the lobby to access house right, new wheel chair spaces at the end of aisles dispersed throughout the main level, and handrail modifications in the balconies to improve overall safety and visibility for patrons.

Updates were also made to the assisted-listening systems, with the relocation of the soundboard to the center of the chamber’s back wall to improve the sound experience for patrons and to free up prime seating.
